NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The Former Prime Minister is hitting back at the new Housing Minister’s assessment of the Prospect Ridge Development.

Jillian Gray reports.

Minnis slammed current Housing Minister Jobeth Coleby Davis for saying the cost of the Prospect Ridge Development may be higher, once a proper study is done. Defending the advertised price, Dr. Minnis says it was based on how much infrastructure would cost.

The new housing minister has said the project was plagued by a number of missteps.

Dr. Minnis however insists the project was properly done.

Despite Dr. Minnis’ explanation, Colbey Davis stood her ground.

One-thousand and five-hundred applications were reviewed by the committee put in place to oversee the project.
Coleby Davis says on Thursday, applicants will learn whether this housing subdivision will move forward or not.
