NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A convicted serial rapist was sentenced to 10 years in prison after taking a plea deal to charges stemming from four sexual assaults that took place in 2021.

Divon Seymour pleaded guilty to six charges, including rape, armed robbery when he appeared before Justice Gregory Hilton.

The three years that Seymour’s spent awaiting trial will be deducted from the sentence.

Seymour’s crimes took place between January 22 and March 3 in the Carmichael Road area.

He raped three women and robbed two of them of cellphones. Seymour abandoned his attempt to rape a fourth victim after she put up a struggle.
