Students Accused Of Assaulting Police Officer Granted Bail

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – EMR High School students face charges of causing grievous harm to a police officer were all granted bail today.

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – EMR High School students face charges of causing grievous harm to a police officer were all granted bail today.

Each bail was set at $7,500 with the option for one or two sureties.

Furthermore, one student is facing an additional charge for causing damage.

Despite this, they were also granted bail, set at $5,000 with one surety.

As part of their bail conditions, all students must sign in at the EMR police station every Monday before 6 p.m.

The case has been adjourned until June 5th, 2024.
