Russia Signs Deals With Vietnam To Shore Up Ties In Asia

VIETNAM – Russian President Vladimir Putin signed multiple agreements with Vietnamese President To Lam during his state visit on Thursday, offering to supply natural gas and other fossil fuels to Vietnam amid Russia’s global isolation over its Ukraine conflict.

The deals span education, science, technology, and oil exploration, with plans for a nuclear science center in Vietnam.
