NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A man accused of the country’s second murder of the year has been granted bail.

Prosecutors say Gamaliel Gray tool part in the January 2 murder of Gerard Coakley.

Justice Renae McKay set Gray’s bail at $30,000 and ordered him to wear an ankle bracelet and keep a curfew.

According to police, Coakley was outside his home on Datura Avenue in South Beach when he was approached by two gunmen who chased him inside his home.

Coakley reportedly exchanged gunfire with the gunman. However, he was fatally shot.
