Rowing
Emily Morley made history as the first Bahamian rower to compete at the Olympic Games, and now she plans to give back to the sport.
Morley donated her single scull to the Nassau Rowing Club and the club named the boat in her honor.

After her performance at the FISA America’s Olympic qualification regatta in Valparaiso, Chile, she was granted a wildcard qualification by the world rowing federation making her the first Bahamian rower to qualify for the Olympic Games.
In Rio, Morley added a new sport to the country’s olympic portfolio when she finished 30th out of 32 scullers from around the world and advanced to the E final.
Locally, Morley served as NRC president from 2016-2018.
