Aliv Signs Multi-Million Dollar Junkanoo Deal

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Junkanaoo shacks are getting set to reopen with news the holiday parades will resume in 2022.

Come December, Junkanoo will be “Aliv”, now that mobile provider Aliv and the Cable Bahamas Group (CBL)are the new sponsors, opening up the parade to more platforms and audiences.

For the next five years Aliv will help to bring Junkanoo to Bay Street and the world.

The three-million-dollar exclusive deal was signed Monday between the mobile provider and Junkanoo Corporation of New Providence (JCNP).

With all of the Cable Bahamas brands, including REV, Cable Bahamas Business Solutions and
Our TV on board, it is expected to bring a whole different experience to spectators and television audiences.

The JCNP sees it as a chance to take the art to an even larger market.
