BRAZIL – Hundreds of rescuers in Brazil searching for survivors of landslides and flooding on Monday that killed at least 36 people along the coast of Sao Paulo.

The search and rescue effort follows a huge weekend downpour as officials say another 40 people are still missing. A statement from government officials indicates more than 1,700 people have been displaced.
