NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Action on the pitch at the Samuel P. Haven High School Soccer Nationals shifted to the juniors, as the semifinals set the stage for a pair of exciting finales.

The finals are all set, and it’ll be all BAISS schools deciding the 2026 championship titles.

In junior girls, top seeded Windsor School will face the St. Augustines College (SAC).

SAC advanced with a 3-0 win over the L.W. Young Golden Eagles.

The junior boys final will be decided between the Lyford Cay Dragons and the Queens College Comets.

The Dragons advanced with the most dominant performance of the afternoon, an 8-1 win over the A.F. Adderley Tigers while the Comets outlasted the S.C. McPherson Sharks 1-0.

Murray Maintains Production at the Plate

BJ Murray Jr. continues to impress for the Iowa Cubs during a strong recent stretch at the plate.

The Chicago prospect went 3-5 in, and added a stolen base in Iowa’s 9-7 win over the Indianapolis Indians on Tuesday night, extending his hot streak to 12 hits in his last 20 at-bats over a five-game span.

Murray has also shown his versatility defensively. On May 23rd, he made his first professional appearance in left field during Iowa’s win over Memphis.

Despite the position change, he still delivered one of the game’s biggest moments with a game-tying two-run double.

The recent run of form continues what Murray has done all season long, hitting .323 with 6 home runs and a .923 OPS.

Chisholm Hits HR No.6 in Yankees’ Rout

Jazz Chisholm Jr. and the New York Yankees continued their dominance of the Kansas City Royals on Tuesday night, cruising to a 15-1 blowout win at Kauffman Stadium.

Chisholm went 2-5 with a home run, an RBI, and two runs scored as the Yankees’ offense erupted for 24 hits and six home runs in the rout.

It was Chisholm’s 6th home run of the season, 416 feet with a 107 mile per hour exit velo.

He’s been one of New York’s most consistent bats over the past several weeks hitting over .300 during his last seven games, and has raised his average significantly.

New York will look to complete the series sweep when the two teams meet again on Wednesday night.
