NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Police revisiting the neighborhoods where murders rocked the community over the weekend, assuring residents of the plan to fight and reduce crime.

After a bloody weekend, senior members of the Royal Bahamas Police Force revisited areas where three homicides occurred, near Anatol Rodgers High School, Montel Heights, and Nassau Village communities.

Commanders for these respected areas were on hand providing updates and initiatives being put in place by police to combat crime in their communities.

Police say the deceased from the Montel Heights incident is a 17-year-old student of Government High School. Another 17-year-old was shot in that incident.

Early Saturday, the burnt body of a man was found near Anatol Rogers High School, police say he was known to them.

Officers say all three incidents are connected.
