UNITED STATES – Walmart is recalling certain frozen shrimp after U.S. regulators detected radioactive material in a shipment.

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) says Walmart’s Great Value Breaded Shrimp, sold across 13 states, may have been exposed to a radioactive isotope.

Officials emphasize that the contaminated batch never reached store shelves, but customers are urged to discard shrimp from three affected lots.

Walmart says it has pulled the product and will provide full refunds while investigating the issue with its supplier in Indonesia.
