NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A 52-year-old man has been charged with causing the death of a man in a wrong way crash.

Prince Dean allegedly drove his red Toyota Passo north along Frederick Street around 1:55am on June 8. Dean’s car hit a Honda Fit, which overturned on a side walk and landed on top of Winston Davis, who was on the sidewalk.

Dean, a resident of Derby Road, was not required to enter a plea to the charge of vehicular manslaughter at his initial appearance before Senior Magistrate Carolyn Vogt-Evans.

He was granted $10,000 bail and he returns to court on November 24 to receive his voluntary bill of indictment.
