Softball Coach Charged with Unlawful Sexual Intercourse with Teen Girl
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A softball coach is behind bars on charges that he had an illegal sexual relationship with a teenage girl.
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A softball coach is behind bars on charges that he had an illegal sexual relationship with a teenage girl.
Prosecutors allege that 57-year-old John Campbell started the relationship in October 2024 when the girl was 14. The alleged relationship was discovered in March when the girl was 15.
Campbell faced six counts of unlawful sexual intercourse when he stood before Assistant Chief Magistrate Carolyn Vogt-Evans.
Bail was denied. Campbell is back in court on June 30 to receive voluntary bill of indictment papers.
