Juror In Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs Trial Pushes Back On Verdict Criticism

NEW YORK – A juror in the Sean “Diddy” Combs trial is defending the jury’s decision to acquit the music mogul of sex trafficking and racketeering charges, saying celebrity status had nothing to do with it.

In a statement to ABC News, the unnamed juror called suggestions of bias “insulting”, insisting the verdict was based solely on evidence and the law.

Combs was convicted Wednesday on two counts of prostitution-related offenses and now faces up to 20 years in prison.

He was denied bail and will be sentenced later this year.

The trial included emotional testimony from 34 witnesses, including his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura.
