PLP’s Gather on Thomas A. Robinson Grounds for Rally

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The Thomas A. Robinson Sporting Grounds was the hot spot for hundreds of PLP supporters Monday night as the party held it’s latest Rally for Progress in the capital, continuing to make their plea to voters, two weeks before the general election.

During this Rally for Progress, the party targets time voters living in Southern New Providence.

Incumbent for South each Bacchus Rolle, tells supporters his record speaks for itself.

Bacchus Rolle – Incumbent, South Beach

“Progress means the reopening of the South Beach pools so our children and adults can learn to swim and train his lifeguards. Progress means youth mentoring programs building a young people towards brighter future.”

Bamboo Town incumbent, Patricia Deveaux, danced her way onto the stage, making her case to voters, saying she’s always represented the community, and wants to continue doing just that.

“Bamboo Town does not bend easy, Bamboo Town does not scare easily, Bamboo Town knows who is real and who is just passing through.”

Another key constituency to watch is Garden Hills, as incumbent, Mario Bowleg, takes shots at the Free National Movement’s candidate Rick Fox.

However, speeches weren’t the only highlight of the night, as the crowd was entertained with live music, where even candidates like Keith Bell were seen enjoying himself.

Closing out the night was party leader and prime minister, Philip Davis, saying Bahamians shouldn’t fall for what he describes as the FNM’s tricks.
