NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A convicted killer is facing new charges more than two years after his release from prison.

The court heard that 55-year-old Roger Watson struck his younger brother, Lowell Watson, in the head with a mallet on may 27th, after accusing him of letting his dog hurt his cat.

Acting Chief Magistrate Shaka Serville placed Watson on probation for a year and ordered him to attend anger management classes.

Watson also has to pay his brother $309 in compensation to avoid a default sentence of six months in prison.

Now Watson was freed from prison in January 2024 after spending 21 years in prison for the January 15, 2003 shooting death of 12-year-old Eddison Curtis. He was initially sentenced to hang for the fatal shooting of the preteen into 2007.
