NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A Bahamian man is facing charges after prosecutors said he illegally built on Crown land.

65-year-old Keith Robert Ingraham pleaded not guilty to charges of causing damage and operating without a building permit at his arraignment before Acting Chief Magistrate Ancella Evans.

He’s accused of damaging property in the Well Fields north of Opulent Heights and building without a valid building permit.

The offenses allegedly took place between May 2025 and July 2025.

Ingraham, who’s represented by Donna Major, is free on $500 bail and returns to court on October 7 for trial.
