NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Recognized for his ability to energize any venue where he’s performing, DJ Ignite has established himself as a prominent figure in entertainment.

Upon graduating from high school, he was initially interested in athletics, which even afforded him the opportunity to study abroad.

However, financial constraints changed his career path.

DJ Ignite – DJ

“I always collected music when I was at school cause I couldn’t come home. I couldn’t afford to come home so I was always at school collecting music.

“And then I was like man I wonder if they would play this song after this one and they never did it. So that’s when I connected with DJ’s home to try figure out how to become one.”

He credits one of his mentors to be Supa Mario.

With years of experience and a resume that rivals his international peers, he has entertained audiences at both of the nation’s premier resorts, performing as the opening act for renowned artists like Maroon 5, Juvenile, Shenseea, Rick Ross, French Montana, and others, whom he cannot disclose due to confidentiality agreements.

His prestigious clientele is a testament to his accomplishments.

However, his success is far from an overnight phenomenon.

DJ Ignite – DJ

“In the beginning you’re playing for practically nothing. If you want to get out there, it is nothing. It is zero cost so I don’t want anyone to feel like you can just wake up, come DJ, and charge xyz, dollars no you have to pay your dues cause people have to find value in you.”

His sacrifices have now earned him not only revenue, but respect.

Denielle Miller – “When you hear people put you on this pedestal especially in a career that’s is basically not glorified within the region how does that make you feel?

DJ Ignite – Very good very good because you’re showing them the result that they’re paying for. Because remember this is live, it’s like a sport, they come to see you for instance, dunk a basketball, hit a home run. When you don’t do that you feel really bad because remember they’re paying for a performance.”
