GRAND BAHAMA, BAHAMAS – Grand Bahama’s only performing arts center, the Freeport Players Guild Regency Theatre suffered a major blow following Hurricane Dorian.

The devastating storm left the once thriving facility with lots of damage and now the thespians that call the stage home are now trying to rebuild.

Director Of Public Relations For The Freeport Players Guild Desiree Joseph says the board is hosting several fundraisers in Grand Bahama to restore and rebuild the theatre.

The upcoming fundraiser, which is dubbed operation island hunt, will be hosted at the regency theatre this Saturday October 9th.
