Senior Environmental Officer in the Department of Environmental Planning and Protection, Arana Pyfrom made the revelation during the 2022 Eco-Schools Bahamas Workshop.
Pyfrom says the developments that are having the most detrimental impact on the environment are the ones the country needs – major resorts and developments that create jobs and boost the economy.
