ABACO, BAHAMAS – The two Abaco members of parliament are confident the Davis administration will address the shanty town issue on that island.

A delegation led by Deputy Prime Minister Chester Cooper and many government ministers visited “The Farm” shanty town on Thursday.

Central and South Abaco MP John Pinder III says Abaco has the full support of this administration.

It was recently revealed that The Farm shantytown has grown by an estimated 200 acres since hurricane Dorian.

Both MP’s have decried the shanty town situation on Abaco with pinder expressing concern about crime.

North Abaco Member of Parliament Kirk Cornish said the visit on Thursday increased his confidence in the Davis administration to address this vexing issue.
