NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Prosecutors have dropped a case against a man accused of murder when he was a teenager.

Prosecutors had accused 13-year-old Arizona Rolle of the December 27, 2009 stabbing murder of his uncle, Cordero Newbold, during an argument over the use of a computer at an apartment in New Providence.

Director of Public Prosecutions Garvin Gaskin issued a nolle prosequi against the now 26-year-old, formally ending the case against him.

Rolle was arrested earlier this month for the April 9, 2022 shooting of Javonne Saunders outside a bar on Village Road.

He is accused of shooting Saunders after she had a row with his girlfriend.

Rolle is on remand at the prison on the attempted murder charge. However, he has pending bail application.
