Ole Miss Women Dismantle Aggies to Win 8th Straight

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Coach Yolett McPhee McCuin and the University of Mississippi Rebels Women’s basketball team can’t lose these days.

On Sunday, they traveled to College Station to whoop the Texas A&M Aggies, 57-38.  The win is the Rebels’ 8th straight, improving their record to 15-2 on the season and 4-0 in the conference.

Snudda Collins, Marquesha Davis and Madison Scott had 11 points apiece with Scott adding 8 rebounds.

The Rebels didn’t need an offensive outburst because they played their trademark stifling defense, holding the Aggies to 34% shooting and an amazingly stingy 1-13 from the three-point line while forcing 24 turnovers. This allowed them to score 24 points on the break.

Coach Yo and the Rebels are in Athens, Georgia on Thursday to play the Bulldogs.
