PLP Chairman Responds to Dame Marguerite

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Progressive Liberal Party Chairman Fred Mitchell responding to Dame Marguerite Pindling’s demand for an apology by explaining that she is “entitled to her own views.”

Dame Marguerite said the party was using the Majority Rule Holiday “as a stepping stone.”

Mitchell said “she can say whatever she wants.”

Both comments came at the graveside service which followed the National Majority Rule Day Service held at St. Agnes Anglican Church.
