JAMAICA – Jamaican sprint legend Usain Bolt is facing a possible wipeout of his investment in Stocks and Securities Limited (SSL) after what sources say was a massive fraud amounting to more than $1.2 billion.

Last Thursday SSL issued a statement saying that it had “become aware of fraudulent activity by a former employee of the company”.

Bolt is now fearing that the monies, which he had hoped to access in his later years, will likely not be recovered.

A source telling the Jamaica Observer the information was delivered to b\Bolt’s management team last week just before the company went public about the massive fraud. The athlete is among 30 others facing losses.
