NASSAU, BAHAMAS – George Myers continues to inspire many across the tourism industry and the wider business community.

He was the founder of the Myers Group in 1992, and expanded his restaurant operation with franchises including KFC, Dunkin Donuts, Quizno’s, Burger King, and Pizza hut.

The Jamaican-born hotelier moved to The Bahamas in 1963 and began his career at Nassau Beach Hotel, moving through the ranks.

Vice President of Carter Marketing Eddie Carter says he knew Meyers from childhood and believes Myers should also be remembered for his contributions to Bahamian music.
