NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The longest serving prime minister in the Caribbean says he believes we are very close to solutions regarding food security in the region.

St. Vincent and the Grenadines Prime Minister Ralph Gonsalves, who has served in that post for 22 years, says Food and Agricultural Organization officials understand the region’s plight.

He also insists leaders are on one accord about making food security a top priority.
