NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A teenager is behind bars in connection with a Valentine’s Day shooting that left one man dead and another injured.

Prosecutors say 18-year-old Antwan Adderley is responsible for the February 14 murder of Gordon McKenzie and the attempted murder of Ingramson Toussaint.

Police said the victims were sitting in a yard on Key West Street when two gunmen opened fire on them.

Adderley was not required to enter pleas to the charges when he appeared before Chief Magistrate Joyann Ferguson-Pratt.Adderley returns to court on May 18.
