NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The Sandilands Rehabilitation Center received some much-needed donations of wheelchairs recently as it prepares to host its 12th annual geriatric push-a-thon this June 3rd.

Director of geriatric services, Dr. Indira Minus-Grimes says the center is still in need of more assistance. 

Acting hospital administrator, Sandra Mortimer-Russell also gave an update as it relates to upgrades at the center. 

While most people associate the center as a place only for those with mental issues ,Mortimer-Russelll says the establishment offers 4 different services on the37-acree property.
