NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A 20-year-old man is behind bars after facing murder and attempted murder charges in connection with separate shootings.

Prosecutors say Chachino Thompson attempted to murder Delarease Rahming, Gariniko Rahming and Roger Nelson on January 10th.

The charge stems from a shooting at the junction of Wilkinson and Augusta Streets.

Thompson is also accused of the shooting murder of Bryan Smith at Hospital Lane on May 26th.
He was not required to enter pleas to the charges when he appeared before Chief Magistrate Joyann Ferguson-Pratt.

Bail was denied and Thompson returns to court on August 1 to receive Voluntary Bill of Indictment papers.
