NASSAU, BAHAMAS – While roadways continue to be a focus for the Ministry of Works, a 130-plus-year-old bridge, a vital part of transportation on one particular Family Island is being assessed for repair.

Attention is being placed on the historic Glass Window Bridge in Eleuthera. Works and Utilities Minister Alfred Sears says consultancy has begun.

Sears sharing the importance these upgrades will have for tourism.

The minister promises that new work will be done with the residents of Eleuthera in mind.
