GRAND BAHAMA, BAHAMAS – BASRA’s Northern Bahamas Operation has a new board, which has placed a priority on fundraising.
GRAND BAHAMA, BAHAMAS – BASRA’s Northern Bahamas Operation has a new board, which has placed a priority on fundraising.
Whenever there’s a sea vessel with passengers in distress or even a downed plane at sea, one of the first agencies contacted to help is The Bahamas Air Sea Rescue Association. They often work along with the Defense Force and U.S. Rescue Agencies in rescue and recovery efforts.
But, unlike many of the agencies it supports, BASRA is a volunteer organization which relies heavily on public donations.
