NASSAU, BAHAMAS – It’s summertime and for young hoopers around the country the name” Jeff Rodgers” has become synonymous with summer basketball and fun.

35 years and going strong, the The Jeff Rodgers Basketball Camp is now underway at the Kendall Isaacs Gym.

The camp seeks to teach young boys and girls the fundamentals of the game in a safe Christian environment but most importantly the camp will teach the youngsters life skills

We spoke with campers about what they’re looking forward to this year.

Camp Director Jeff Rodgers has hosted the camp for over three decades now, he says it’s his faith that keeps him going.

Volleyball

Ras Jesse Delancy emerged as the top player in Division II college volleyball this past year.

The outside hitter and middle blocker for Benedict College nabbed himself D-2 Player of the Year honors averaging 5.38 kills per game with 7 matches with more than 20 kills and 3 matches with more than 30.

He also won Conference Player of the Year two years in a row and was named All-American honorable mention in Division 1 and 2.

Heading into his junior year, there is no doubt that Jesse will dominate the competition once again.
