NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Condolences continue to pour in for Paul Farquharson who died recently.

Farquharson served as the country’s fourth police commissioner from 2001-2008.

During this tenure, he served under then National Security Minister Tommy Turnquest who affectionately remembered him as the “policeman’s policeman”.

Paul Rolle, a former police commissioner, remembers Farquharson for his openness and problem-solving.

Turnquest also shared that while it can be difficult for politicians to speak on the deaths of public figures, Commissioner Farquharson is someone who was near to him.
