NASSAU, BAHAMAS – He goes by many titles, whether he’s wearing the hat of producer, actor, philanthropist, entrepreneur or anything else in the entertainment industry, you’ve probably heard the name Tyler Perry.

In a one-on-one interview Friday morning, Perry shares his love for The Bahamas.

While “Why Did I Get Married 2” was shot here, he explains why we haven’t seen another trip to the islands as yet.

In recent months, Minister for Grand Bahama Ginger Moxey has been advocating to make Grand Bahama the entertainment capital, I asked Perry if we could possibly see his backing for the industry in the nation’s second city.

While noting that Bahamians take pride in their unique island heritage, he explains what makes us all one.

Now Perry also met with Prime Minister Philip Davis in a closed meeting. While he could not disclose the details, there may be an announcement to come about future collaborations.
