NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Jimmy Mackey is the president and owner of MACFit360 Gym and Fitness Center.

I asked him how he’s able to manage his business as well as attract pro athletes of all disciplines to his facilities

Mackey has trained football players, Olympic swimmers, track and field athletes, and the list goes on and on so I asked if he has to switch up the workouts based on the sports discipline of the athlete.

Youth Sailing

The Fidelity National Optimist Championship was held at Montagu Beach in New Providence.

Over 53 sailors, aged 7 to 15 years old, from a number of islands in The Bahamas as well as the U.S. and Cayman competed in the regatta. Thirteen-year-old Patrick Tomlinson of Lyford Cay Sailing Club, right here in New Providence won first place overall for the second consecutive year.

Tomlinson also won The Bahamas Optimist Dinghy Association’s Sailor of The Year Award.
