NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Great Commission Ministries has been filling in the gap for those in need for years whether that means providing daily hot meals or shelter for the homeless.

President of Great Commission Ministries Bishop Walter Hanchell says he has seen a noticeable uptick.

He says in his travels throughout the community, he’s also noticed that more persons seem to be dealing with mental issues.

He says the church does its best with the limited resources available however, he adds that even securing food for the daily meals is becoming a challenge.

He believes inflation is taking its toll on every sector of society.

Bishop Hanchell is encouraging the entire community to come together and assist each other as much as possible.
