NASSAU, BAHAMAS – After winning the 2023 Boxing Day Junkanoo parade, the Shell Saxons Superstars have come under fire with many questioning the win and many others outright saying they didn’t deserve it.

The group is responding to the naysayers. We put the question to JCNP members for the Saxons Kendenique Campbell-Moss.

With the theme of legendary ancient rulers, the Saxons superstars got 94.03 points over the Valley Boys who came second with 92.14 points.

The Saxons choreographed dancers were among the sections of the group many expressed outrage over saying they didn’t deserve best choreography.

Many have also likened their performance and costumes to that of one family last year however, the leader of that section is saying otherwise.

Despite the criticism, the group is still in celebration mode following that win.
