GRAND BAHAMA, BAHAMAS – The beautiful Grand Bahama program is on the move tackling one project at a time to enhance the overall look of the island.

Their most recent project, the YMCA, is a recreational center that has become a second home for many young people.

President of the Legacy Baseball and Softball Association Sonia Knowles says the YMCA is their home and the recent upgrades have benefited many of their young players in advancing their sporting abilities.

Now the my beautiful Grand Bahama program has given some Grand Bahamians the opportunity to gain credible work experience in several industries throughout the island.

Team captain edwin strachan is just one of the many faces behind the mega project.

He shares some of the details related to renovations at the YMCA and the impact he believes it will have on the community.

The  program which started some two years ago has a workforce of three hundred and fifty people with with various strengths, skillsets, and backgrounds. 

Strachan says the men on his team are excited to be a part of the project.
