NASSAU, BAHAMAS – From beating cancer to leading a 100-person team, Jody Knowles has been a shining light at Bahamas Harvest Church. Her passion and creativity secured her spot in REV’s “Connecting People Who Care” competition.

Jillian Gray has her story.

When Jody Knowles joined Bahamas Harvest Church, her goal was to be changed and transformed by the power of God. Eight years later, she’s paying it forward.

Leading over 100 volunteers on a weekly basis, Pastor Mario Moxey says Knowles is the embodiment of heroism.

Assimilation and small groups director Petra Higgs described Knowles as a fighter. She is a breast cancer survivor and the mother of three boys, one of whom is autistic.

Knowles is a finalist in REV’s “Connecting People Who Care”campaign. Regardless of who wins, Pastor Erika Moxey says Jody is their hero.
