NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Three people who stood bail for an accused killer who skipped bail during his trial have been ordered to pay his $30,000 bail sum.

The suretors claimed that they didn’t know where was Roobens Elusme when Justice Gregory Hilton asked if they knew his whereabouts.

He’s accused of the January 1, 2020 shooting death of Marco Meadows at Third Street, Coconut Grove.

Elusme jumped bail while Justice Hilton was hearing legal arguments to determine whether his alleged confession would be admitted into evidence.

Justice Hilton has dismissed the jury in the case and issued a warrant for his arrest.
