NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Millions of Americans celebrated the Fourth of July on Thursday with parades, fireworks, and barbecues.

The holiday, marking the 1776 signing of the Declaration of Independence, offered a break from unsettling news and political divisions as the Biden-Trump election battle continues.

Despite the country’s growing divisions, the day was a chance for unity.

Homes and shops across the country, from New England to Hawaii, were adorned with red, white, and blue decorations, emphasizing family, food, and summer fun.
