NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A jury has unanimously acquitted 21-year-old Woodcarl Pasteur of murder.

Prosecutors allege that Pasteur was responsible for the July 22, 2022 murder of Keithon Johnson at Peter Street.

A lone gunman shot and killed Johnson by a lone gunman who chased him inside his home.

A witness claimed that she saw Pasteur approach the house and saw him fleeing after hearing gunshots.

Pasteur exercised his right to remain silent at his trial before Justice Gregory Hilton.

However, his lawyer Miranda Adderley suggested that the witness was mistaken in her identification.
