NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Those were the cries of family members when we visited the country’s latest homicide Tuesday afternoon through Homestead Street.

Police tell our news they received a call just after 11:30am from a man who requested assistance.

Officer-in-charge of Grove Police Station Chief Superintendent Dwight Smith revealing these preliminary findings.

Family members identified the victim as 44-year-old Theresa Knowles.

Officer-In-Charge of the Grove Area, Assistant Commissioner of Police Chaswell Hanna gave this bit of advice to those who may be struggling in their relationships.

This brings the homicide count to 74 for the year.
