Acting Director Calls For Stiffer Penalties For Crimes Against The Elderly
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – One day after the shocking news that a man was sentenced to 9 years for a string of rapes including an 83-year-old woman, Acting Director of Social Services Charlamae Fernander says laws need to be strengthened to protect the elderly against instances like this.
