Freeport’s Got Talent Showcases GB’s Artists

GRAND BAHAMA, BAHAMAS – It was a huge display of talent from the community of Grand Bahama for the first ever, Freeport’s Got Talent competition by the Grand Bahama Port Authority.

The event held in the Port Lucaya Marketplace featured an impressive lineup of Bahamian artists, singers, bands, church choirs, and school choirs.

But as the night unfolded. There could only be one crowned as the overall winner. Sunland Baptist Academy emerged victorious.

Representative Atiya Wallace says it took the choir lots of preparation.

Organizer, Fatima Zarhra-Kaboub telling us the event is really the vision of the GBPA who wants to support the orange economy.

While Manager of Quality Assurance and Special Projects Glendia Sweeting at the GBPA says it’s all about community involvement.

As for what will be done with the funds by students of Sunland Baptist Academy.
