NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A murder accused will remain behind bars after his lawyer failed to convince a judge to release him on bail again.

Ahmad Clarke applied for bail more than a year after his bail was revoked for failing to comply with his curfew.

Clarke and two others are charged with October 29, 2022 murder of Fred Lifaite at Sixth Street, Coconut Grove.

At the time of the alleged offense, Clarke was on bail for two other murders and attempted murder.

Clarke was granted bail for the 2018 shooting death of Christian Moore and the attempted murders of Romeo Moss and Tarsman Clarke.

While on bail for that crime, Clarke was accused of murdering Renaldo Nixon and attempting to murder Antonisha Adderley in a November 24, 2020 shooting at Hepburn Alley.
