NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Three police officers and a party bus driver are facing charges after a young woman was allegedly raped at a party earlier this month.

Prosecutors allege that Earin Cash, 30, Jimmy Thurston, 31, Alvin Glinton, 31, and Jeff Joseph, 29, a bus driver, raped the 18-year-old between October 5 and 6, while 24-year-old Cornelius Rigby is accused of abetting the five alleged rapes

Cash is accused of raping the woman twice while the other men face a single count of rape.

The men were not required to enter pleas to the charges when they stood before Chief Magistrate Roberto Reckley.

Bail was denied for the alleged rapists and the matter was adjourned to February 27, 2025 for the presentation of voluntary bill of indictment papers.

Rigby’s bail has been set at $9,500 on the condition that he wears an ankle bracelet , checks in with police and stays away from the prosecution’s witnesses.
