NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A family of 5 is leaning on the shoulders of good samaritans after they were evicted from their apartment.

This young father spoke to our Joshua Williams while holding his 2-month-old son. He asked for his identity to be hidden.

He says everything went downhill following a violent altercation, saying his injuries kept him from work.

As a result, he says he rented a car for his family to sleep in. After the five days were up, he says they appealed for help

I spoke to the father outside of the Registrar General’s office, his girlfriend inside, sorting out documents for their three children.

He says government needs to step in and do more to assist those in his position.

Despite this he says, as the breadwinner, there are no excuses.
