Bail Denied for Former Clifton Heritage Managing Director

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Former managing director of the Clifton Heritage Site Mario Bannister will remain behind bars after a Supreme Court judge denied his bail application.

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Former managing director of the Clifton Heritage Site Mario Bannister will remain behind bars after a Supreme Court judge denied his bail application.

The 62-year-old father of three has been in custody since his arrest for the August 15 murder of Philip Adderley Jr.

Adderley’s body was retreived from waters near the South Ocean the following day. He was stabbed about the body and tied at the hands and legs.

Bannister is facing charges of conspiracy to commit murder and acting as an accessory after the fact in Adderley’s death.

Bannister is charged along with Christian Napier, 28 and Donte Riley, 26.

They’re charged with conspiracy to commit Adderley’s murder and his murder.
